HONOR Philippines is set to unveil what they call #TheToughestPhone of 2025 with the local launch of the HONOR X9c 5G on January 10, 2025. The device aims to push boundaries by attempting an unprecedented 500-foot drop test, surpassing its predecessor’s 200-foot achievement.

Advanced Defense Features
The HONOR X9c 5G boasts impressive durability specifications with its All-Angle Triple Defense system. The device has earned an SGS 5-Star rating for Drop Resistance and can withstand drops from up to 2 meters. The smartphone also boasts an IP65M rating, allowing it to survive submersion in water up to 25cm deep for five minutes.
The device also introduces a new durability benchmark with its heat resistance capabilities. It can reportedly function in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C.
