NVIDIA CEO, Jensen Huang, takes CES with a Keynote unveiling a wide range of Nvidia AI technologies, innovations, and even new graphics cards. We’ll focus more on the latter for this article as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series was just announced featuring at least 2x the performance uplift of the previous RTX 40 series GPUs.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090
The flagship Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 has twice the performance of the outgoing RTX 4090 with 3,352 AI TOPS. The RTX 5090 has 32GB GGDR7 memory with a memory bandwidth of 1792GB/sec.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 GPU has 1,801 AI TOPS of performance. The RTX 5080 has 16GB of GDDR7 memory with 960GB/sec bandwidth
Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti has 1,406 AI TOPS of performance. Like the RTX 5080, the RTX 5070 Ti also has 16GB of GDDR7 albeit at a slower bandwidth of 896 GB/sec.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070
Nvidia claims that the GeForce RTX 5070 has the same performance as the RTX 4090 with an AI TOP count of 988. Despite Nvidia claiming the same RTX 4090 level performance, it has a slower memory configuration of 12GB GDDR7 with a bandwidth of 672 GB/sec compared to the 24GB GGDR6X 1008 GB/sec of the RTX 4090.
AMD RTX 50 Series Pricing and Availability
The GeForce RTX 5090 has a global SRP of $2,000 with a local price starting at Php 145,800. The RTX 5080 will retail for $999 US or Php 72,860. The RTX 5070 Ti starts at Php $749 US or Php 54,630 while the RTX 5070 is priced at Php 40,400 or $549.
The RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 will be available starting January 30 while the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 will be available by February.
