Samsung teased the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge at the recently concluded Galaxy Unpacked event. This was when the Galaxy S25 series was announced which included the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
The Galaxy S25 Edge stands out amidst its siblings with a slimmer body.

Reports claim that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will slot itself between the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+. It was initially thought that the Edge would have better cameras than the base and Plus variant.
However, upon taking a closer look at the rear panel, it is likely that the Galaxy S25 Edge will use an ultrawide sensor instead of a telephoto lens.
Telephoto lenses require more space to be implemented than a main or ultrawide lens. The space required goes up as the focal length increases as well. Given that the main selling point of the Edge is its size, it would make sense for Samsung to opt for an ultrawide snapper.
That said, Samsung did introduce the ISOCELL AloP lens, a more compact telephoto sensor late last year. We expect the company to equip an Ultra device with the new lens first.
As of writing this, it’s uncertain when we’ll see the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and it could a bit too early but we look forward to learning more about the new device in official detail.
