During the brand’s showcase at MWC 2025, global technology leader HONOR unveiled the HONOR ALPHA PLAN, its strategy to transition from a smartphone manufacturer into a leading AI device ecosystem company.
With a three-step roadmap and its commitment to innovation and collaboration, HONOR invites the technology industry to join in building an open, value-sharing ecosystem designed to maximize human potential.

Key Developments under the HONOR ALPHA PLAN

Cutting-edge AI Innovations
HONOR introduced the world’s first GUI-based personal mobile AI agent, capable of making intelligent decisions such as scheduling appointments and navigating traffic—all while seamlessly integrating third-party services.
This was demonstrated in a technology showcase with Google Cloud and Qualcomm Technologies, where an AI agent made a table reservation through a third-party service, but it also considered appointments in the HONOR Calendar and current traffic advisories.
HONOR also showcased AiMAGE, its revolutionary AI imaging technology, which enhances photo clarity and restores old portraits using AI.

Co-creating an Open, Value-sharing Ecosystem with Global Partners
To reach the second step of the HONOR ALPHA PLAN, the brand calls on the industry to open up its AI capabilities for a wider range of devices. This would enable seamless collaboration as HONOR co-creates a value-sharing ecosystem with global partners. As a testament to its commitment, HONOR announced today that it will invest more than USD 10 billion over the next five years to fund this endeavor.
“As we move into the physical AI era, we need to open our industry boundaries and co-create a new paradigm for the AI ecosystem,” Li said. “In the end, we will open human potential boundaries and co-create a new paradigm for civilization in the AGI era. Representatives from Google Cloud, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., CKH Group, Orange, Telefónica, and Vodafone joined Li on stage to officiate a tree-lighting ceremony. By illuminating a tree of light representing the AI ecosystem and AI devices, the ceremony symbolized the collaboration of industry partners to co-develop the AI device ecosystem that will serve every consumer worldwide
Sustainability Efforts
HONOR also reiterated its commitment to sustainability – pledging to achieve operational carbon neutrality by 2040 and extend its efforts to its entire supply chain by 2050.
