Island Credit Solution’s innovative approach involves “PhilScore,” a credit rating system designed to provide every Filipino with a unique and accessible credit profile using CIC credit reports, empowering individuals, especially those new to credit, to build and improve their financial standing while enabling lenders to make more informed decisions.
AI-Powered Analytics for Smarter Lending
Island Credit Solution brings a suite of ready-to-use analytics tools designed for agile and scalable financial applications. With AI-driven analytics and alternative data sources, the company can provide valuable credit insights for banks, fintech lenders, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Expanding Financial Access
The partnership also aims to address long-standing challenges in the Philippine credit industry, including data fragmentation, outdated risk assessment models, and limited technological integration. Island Credit Solution’s agile, SaaS-based plug-and-play solution enables financial institutions of all sizes to integrate advanced credit analytics into their decision-making processes.
CIC’s Vision for Credit Accessibility
CIC President and CEO Ben Baltazar also highlighted the importance of this partnership in expanding credit access. The collaboration is expected to accelerate the adoption of credit reports nationwide. The CIC aims to generate around 20 million credit reports in 2025, a significant increase from the 10 million generated in 2024.
