UNISOC has just unveiled the UNISOC T8300 SoC is designed to offer a robust multimedia and gaming experience for users.
UNISOC T8300
The UNISOC T8300 is built on the 6nm process with an octa-core design that comprises two Arm Cortex-A78 cores running at 2.2GHz and six Arm Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz.

The new chipset is equipped with an Arm Mali G57 dual-core GPU and supports UFS 2.2 storage and LPDDR4X RAM.
According to recent tests, it scored 510,000 points on the AnTuTu V10 benchmark.

The new chipset supports FHD+ resolution panels with up to a 120Hz refresh rate with HDR Vivid and HDR10+. Moreover, it has a VideoPQ feature that adjusts video contrast for better colors and sharpness.
Camera
For optics, the UNISOC T8300 can support up to a 108MP sensor and dual 16MP cameras with Zero Shutter Lag at 25fps. It also features the 7th-generation Vivimagic imaging engine and a quad-core ISP that is capable of processing 1.6 billion pixels per second.

The T8300 has a hardware-based multi-frame and temporal noise reduction for better images even in low light. There’s also the updated 3A algorithm 5.0 that improves facial brightness, color accuracy, and focus speed.
Audio
The chipset has a new audio architecture with Hi-Fi4 technology that is said to offer pure, lifelike sound.

Meanwhile, an advanced audio algorithm helps with:
- Smart noise reduction and noise cancellation 3.0 for clearer calls
- Spatial Audio 2.0 for a more immersive stereo output
- VTS ADC wake-up technology that supports screen-off wake-up, interruption wake-up, and custom voice recognition in English and Chinese
Manufacturers can also integrate platform or third-party algorithms through the customizable DSP software.
Gaming
The UNISOC T8300 boasts the company’s Miracle Gaming Engine that combines scheduling, networking, graphics, memory, and storage to offer a more seamless gaming experience.
It is capable of maintaining 90fps in games like Honor of Kings, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Free Fire at high settings. These optimizations are said to reduce frame drops by 41%-85%, lower game loading times by 50%, and drop input lag by up to 80%.

Moreover, it has a collaboration with Tencent Game Voice for stable and clear voice chat even in weaker networks.
Satellite and 5G Connectivity
The T8300 supports the 3GPP R17 standard and integrates 5G NR NTN satellite communication and 5G MBS broadcasting to expand 5G use cases.
Additionally, it offers 5G NR 100MHz bandwidth and multi-mode support for 2G to 5G.
The UNISOC T8300 is now being shipped globally and is powering smartphones in 76 countries and regions. Among the devices include the nubia Neo3 5G which debut at MWC 2025.
UNISOC has introduced a new naming convention for its chipsets. The T8300 is part of the 8-series that mainly focuses on performance, efficiency, and fast connectivity. The higher 9-series, on the other hand, is built for tech enthusiasts.

He would then transition to focus more on the world of tech which has also began his journey into learning more about this world. That said though, he still has the mentality of "as long as it works" for his personal gadgets.
