HUAWEI is set to expand its audio device lineup with the HUAWEI FreeArc, its first open-ear earbuds with earhooks. Scheduled for release in the Philippines this April 2025, these wireless earbuds are designed to provide maximum comfort and stability even during physical activities while allowing the user to maintain environmental awareness.
Innovative Design for Superior Fit
The HUAWEI FreeArc uses a C-bridge design developed through analysis of over 10,000 auricle data points. This scientific approach has resulted in a 140° Optimal Triangle structure that ensures the earbuds remain securely in place during high-movement activities, from outdoor running to aerial yoga and racket sports.
Enhanced Comfort Features
HUAWEI has incorporated several innovative design elements to enhance user comfort. The earbuds utilize a Gravity Balance design to distribute weight evenly and reduce pressure points. S-shaped curves conform to the ear’s natural contours, while droplet-shaped earhooks provide additional security.
The HUAWEI FreeArc is made with 0.7mm Ni-Ti shape-memory alloy that adapts to individual ear shapes while maintaining structural integrity. Furthermore, 81.5% of the surface is covered with hypoallergenic liquid silicone for comfortable extended wear.
Audio Performance and Awareness
The open-ear design allows users to remain aware of their surroundings while enjoying audio content or taking calls. Sound quality is delivered through a 17x12mm driver unit with a dynamic bass algorithm and adaptive equal-loudness algorithm to provide balanced audio across frequencies. Users can personalize their listening experience with multi-EQ modes and customization options.
Communication and Connectivity
For clear communication, the HUAWEI FreeArc utilizes a dual-mic layout and triple-noise canceling system with 4m/s wind noise resistance. The earbuds maintain stable connectivity in various environments, with an advanced smart antenna and anti-interference technology that provides connection ranges up to a 400m runway or within a 100m² office space.
Durability and Design
As its first true wireless stereo earbuds with IP57 certification, the HUAWEI FreeArc offers water resistance against splashes, sweat, and rain, making it suitable for various weather conditions. The durability of the earbuds has been verified through 20,000 reliability and bending tests.
The device also boasts a premium metallic runway ring logo created through a flagship-level PPVD process involving multiple layers of spray and coating.
