OnePlus has just revealed that it will debut the OnePlus 27W Freezing Point Cooler, a phone cooler that’s MagSafe compatible on April 24. This joins the compact OnePlus 13T among others that will be unveiled on that day.
OnePlus 27W Freezing Point Cooler
The OnePlus 27W Freezing Point Cooler is a smartphone accessory that is MagSafe-compatible and a successor to the company’s 27W cooler introduced in 2023. Yes, you read that right, MagSafe-compatible, meaning you can use it for other devices like the OnePlus 13, 13R, 12, and other OnePlus and OPPO devices, to name a few.
The new cooler comes with a sleek round design that comes in a grey body, a black fan, and an iconic red circle in the middle for the company’s logo.
The cooler looks to handle the cooling of smartphones with a combo of thermoelectric (TEC) cooling and a fan. It connects via USB-C and requires a 27W power adapter to run.
Based on the initial announcement, it’s hard to tell if the upcoming cooler will feature the three-speed switch, which its predecessor had.
Either way, the wait isn’t too long now with the launch happening on April 24. We look forward to seeing the latest OnePlus devices.
