OPPO has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone, the OPPO Find X8 Ultra, in China. Touted as the thinnest flagship cameraphone, it measures 8.78mm in thickness, while maintaining a robust build with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with SGS five-star drop resistance.

The device features a 6.82-inch 10-bit LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 3,168×1,440 pixels and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The phone runs on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.

The OPPO Find X8 Ultra packs a 6,100mAh silicon-carbon battery, which offers a nearly 20% increase in size compared to its predecessor and supports 100W SUPERVOOC wired and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging, along with 10W reverse wireless charging.

The enhanced camera system has improved periscope zoom cameras and a new True Chroma camera for accurate color temperature analysis. The main camera uses a 50MP 1-inch Sony LYT900 sensor, while the ultrawide camera features a 1/2.75-inch Samsung JN5 sensor. There’s a 21mm f/2.4 autofocusing ultrawide front camera.

Pricing

The Find X8 Ultra will be available in China starting April 16, with prices ranging from CNY 6,499 for the base model to CNY 7,999 for the top-tier variant.
