TCL Electronics recently marked its 25th anniversary with an elegant celebration at Okada Manila’s Grand Ballroom. The event, themed “Legendary Moment, Timeless Greatness,” served as both a reflection on the company’s quarter-century journey and a showcase for its newest technological innovations designed to enhance Filipino homes.

The event highlighted TCL’s impressive achievements, including a recognition as the new Triple Global Top 1 TV Brand in Mini-LED, Google TV, and Ultra-Large Screen TVs (85 inches and above) according to OMDIA 2024. In its 25-year journey in the Philippines, the brand consistently brought technological advancements into Filipino households, from immersive television experiences to energy-efficient appliances.
Leadership Vision
Griffin Zhang, General Manager of Asia Pacific Business Group, TCL Industries, highlighted the company’s market achievements: “In the past, TCL has achieved remarkable results in the Philippine market. Our TV and AC sales both hold the number 1 market share in sales volume and have become trusted brands among consumers. The Ref & WM category has also maintained a rapid growth trend, with a constantly expanding market share. These achievements are inseparable from the efforts and support of every partner.”

The event showcased TCL’s 2025 product lineup, featuring four key innovations focused on cooler, cleaner, smarter, and sharper technologies:

Charlie Huang, Deputy Product Director of Brownline, unveiled the X11K QD-MiniLED TV, which represent TCL’s cutting-edge display technology.

Bert Cheung, Deputy Product Director of Air Conditioner, introduced the award-winning TCL FreshIn 3.0 Air Conditioners, designed to revolutionize climate control solutions.

Eric Li, Senior Product Manager of Washing Machine and Refrigerator, showcased the new TCL Super Drum Combo+ C682 Front Load Washer and Dryer, emphasizing efficiency and smart technology.

Li also revealed the newly introduced bottom mounted refrigerator AAT Inverter+ C436BMSB, created to enhance convenience and efficiency in daily living.
Olympic Partnership

A significant announcement at the event was TCL’s global partnership with the International Olympic Committee, a collaboration that will extend through 2032. This partnership underscores TCL’s commitment to excellence and innovation on a global scale.
Shae Yu, Deputy Director of Marketing of TCL Philippines, elaborated on this partnership: “Being a global technology leader, TCL believes in the power to ‘Inspire Greatness,’ a sentiment echoed by the Olympic spirit. Filipino pole vaulter EJ Obiena, ranked world No. 4 in men’s pole vault, was present as a special guest. The event featured a fireside chat with TCL’s newest brand partners, TV personality Valeen Montenegro and actress Rhian Ramos.
