Xiaomi, alongside the release of the K50 Gaming flagship phone, launched its first gaming router in China – AX5400.
The company said in a statement that it made this gaming router to “provide the best gaming experience, whether PC or mobile gaming.”
It sports a gaming-inspired look with RGB lighting that offers 16 million colors along with game acceleration plug-in support.
The router offers a 2.5G Ethernet port that can be used specifically for gaming and for external NAS device plug-ins. Additionally, it can adapt to your gigabit fiber speed as well.
It is also WiFi 6 enabled and supports a hybrid mesh network that is compatible with all of the other Xiaomi WiFi 6 routers. This offers full coverage of your home if you are running multiple routers.
The gaming router is also powered by a dual-core 64-bit Qualcomm SoC with a 1.0Ghz CPU with an independent 1.0GHz NPU. Moreover, it sports six independent high-performance FEM’s (Front End Modules) that are signal amplifiers.
The router is also capable of automatically recognizing the compatible Xiaomi and Redmi phones that reduce the delay by up to 20%.
The Redmi AX5400 will be available in China at the price of CNY 599 but will get a discounted price of CNY 549 during its first launch.
