Huawei debuted the Huawei MatePad Paper, the first E-Ink member in the MatePad series at the Mobile World Congress 2022. The company also launched the MateStation X and its latest MateBook laptops.
The MatePad Paper is built with 10.3-inch 2K display designed for reading and writing down notes. The display has a smart refresh technology that allows it to play videos, browse the web, and navigate the interface faster.
Compared to the available e-readers, the Paper has a larger real-estate that offers more text and requires less page-turning.
It comes with a special anti-glare layer on top and supports 32 levels of brightness which allows you to read even in darker surroundings.
The E-Ink tablet comes with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage/ Wi-Fi 6+. The company claims its battery offers four weeks of standby.
The tablet supports the second-generation M-Pencil stylus. Additionally, it runs on a custom version of HarmonyOS 2.0 with support for smart content transfer from Huawei smartphones.
The Huawei MatePad Paper comes in Black, Khaki, and Blue color options. The price tag on the tablet is EUR 499 and comes with an M-Pencil and a Folio Cover.
