Redmi has officially announced the Redmi K50 series will launch at 7 pm on March 17 in China. Three devices will be unveiled – Redmi K50, K50 Pro, and K50 Pro+. These will be joining the previously unveiled Redmi K50 Gaming.
The poster above shows the camera island design of the Redmi K50 series. Additionally, it confirms a 108MP triple camera setup with dual-LED flash.
The three upcoming Redmi K50 series devices are rumored to be powered by three different SoCs. These chipsets are speculated to be the Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 8100, and Dimensity 9000.
TENAA listings show that the K50 vanilla model will come in three configurations – 6/128GB, 8/128GB, 12/256GB. On the other hand, the K50 Pro will come in 8/128GB, 8/256GB, 12/256GB configurations. Both models may support 67W rapid charging.
Additionally, the K50 Pro+ TENAA listing shows it comes with an 8/128GB, 8/256GB, and 12/512GB configuration with support for 120W fast charging.
The tipster WHY LAB reported that the K50 Pro+ will have an OIS-enabled 108-megapixel main camera while the K50 Pro will have the same camera without OIS support.
