Sony has just released the new Xperia 1 IV (Mark 4) smartphone that features a continuous zoom camera that promises pro-grade imaging and video capture.

Last year’s Mark 3 featured a focal length telephoto camera that could only toggle between 70mm and 105mm focal length. The successor, however, has completely different and far more advanced focal length capabilities.

Because of the revolutionary new design, the Mark 4 zooms in more at the far end which can toggle between 85mm to 125mm with 3.5 to 5x optical magnification.
