Qualcomm has just announced that it will be holding a Snapdragon Night event that is set to take place on May 20 in China.
At the event, the company is said to introduce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipsets.
The former is believed to feature a minor GPU upgrade from the vanilla Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The CPU structure of the Plus variant though is said to be identical.
Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 is said to have four Cortex A-710 performance cores running at 2.36GHz and four A510 cores clocked at 1.8GHz along with an Adreno 662 GPU.
Motorola is expected to debut the 8 Gen 1 on the Edge X30, while the new OPPO Reno8 series is rumored to be powered by the new 7-series chipset on May 23.
We expect to know more about what will be introduced at the Snapdragon Night event which will take place on May 20 in China at 8 PM.
