ASUS ROG is set to launch the ROG Phone 6 series this coming July 5 and is said to be the first phone to have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC in its tier.
Some leaks have already been circling around including leaks spotted on TENAA and some rumors regarding the ROG Phone 6’s specs.
Furthermore, the new gaming phone is said to continue the trend of not having any notches or punch holes and placed the selfie cam on top by having a thicker bezel in the same location.
A USB port and the SIM slot are located on the left side of the phone while the trigger button will be located on the right side of the phone. In addition, the phone will sport a triple camera setup at the back alongside a single LED flash.
Moreover, additional features are included like the extra keys on the back that are paired with the AeroActive Cooler. The new cooler differentiates itself from its predecessors by having two clickable buttons on each side of the fan.
As of now the confirmed details about the ROG phone 6 are its SoC, 165Hz refresh rate, and IP4 dust/water resistance rating but we will surely know more as the July 5 Launch comes closer.
