HONOR just recently introduced a new addition to its X series lineup at an event in China – HONOR X40 is geared for the mid-range market and comes in three colors.

This device is equipped with a 6.67-inch FHD+ Curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, up to 800 nits of brightness, and a fingerprint scanner underneath. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 695 processor along with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It does not have a microSD card slot.
For optics, you get a 50MP main camera and a 2MP auxiliary sensor for macro photography at the rear, and an 8MP front shooter. The phone runs on Magic UI 6.1 on top of Android 12 and packs a 5,100mAh battery with support for 40W fast-charging.

HONOR X40 is priced starting at CNY 1,499 (around PHP 12,300). We’re also hoping that HONOR releases this phone to other markets.
