After all the rumors, Xiaomi has just announced its newest additions to its high-end lineup, Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro. The latter is equipped with a 200MP main camera.
Xiaomi 12T Pro has a 6.67-inch 1220 x 2712 12-bit AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 900 nits of peak brightness, support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. At the helm is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, complimented by a 65% larger vapor chamber, and 125% more thermal material. You also get up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For optics, the 200MP main camera can record 8K and HDR10+ videos and has 2x lossless digital zoom as well as OIS. It’s joined by an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP macro shooter. At the front is a 20MP snapper.
Xiaomi 12T has the same display and battery, but uses a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra, along with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It has a 108MP ISOCELL HM6 main unit with OIS, while the rest of its cameras are the same with the Pro. It does not support Dolby Vision.
Both devices run MIUI 13 on top of Android 12 and come with a 120W charger that can top-up their power packs to 100% in 19 minutes. Both also feature Wi-Fi 6, and dual-SIM capabilities.
