The Redmi Note 12 series is set to launch later today. Ahead of its launch though, it was revealed that the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will also include the debut of Samsung’s ISOCELL HPX 200MP sensor which is a slightly improved ISOCELL HP3 sensor that was announced early this year.

The new sensor boasts a 1/1.4-inch sensor size, 16-to-1 pixel binning, and QPD autofocus. The images will be set at 12.5MP resolution by default and will come with a 2.24μm pitch but you can also take 50MP images with 1.12μm pixels and full 200MP images with 0.56μm pixels.
Moreover, the sensor also has staggered HDR, and 14-bit color depth alongside 8K video recording at 30fps and 4K at 120fps.
Xiaomi also shared an image of two of the Redmi Note 12 Pro’s colorways – Pink Galaxy and Blue and both feature AG matte glass. Another post said that the phone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC.
The Xiaomi Book Air 13 will also be expected during the launch event today.
