Tecno is gearing up to release its next premium phone – Phantom X2 and it will be powered by a Dimensity 9000 SoC (its predecessor was powered by a Helio G95) making it the company’s most powerful phone to date.
TECNO Phantom X2
The phone manufacturer uses MediaTek chipsets almost exclusively so having the Dimensity 9000 SoC power the Phantom X2 was not a surprise. The aforementioned SoC is still one of the most powerful in the current market with AnTuTu scores matching the original Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
In addition, the brand also focuses on developing its camera tech. The Phantom X2 will feature the Imagiq 790 ISP and it will be the first family to support HDR video using three cameras at the same time. It also has TECNO’s Super-night Mode and multi-exposure HDR.
The TECNO Phantom X2 series will be launched on December 7. So for now we can only wait for the launch event for more details.
