Ahead of its December 8 global launch, YouTuber Lim Reviews shared an unboxing video of the Malaysian version of the realme 10 Pro+.
Based on his video, it looks like some global markets will get a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC instead of the newer Dimensity 1080 chipset. The Chinese variant was introduced with the newer chip and it has also been confirmed that India will have the same chip.
There are speculations that some markets in Southeast Asia will have the Dimensity 920-powered version of the realme 10 Pro+.
The two chipsets, as far as performance goes, are pretty close albeit the newer Dimensity 1080 features HyperEngine 3.0, a better improved zero shutter lag ISP, and some performance improvements.
realme 10 Pro+ Specs
The realme 10 Pro+, at least the Chinese variant, launched with a 61-degree curved FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
It also had a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging and, of course, the Dimensity 1080 processor.
We’ll just have to wait and see what the company unveils for the rest of the world and for the Philippines if it does make it to the Philippines.

That said though, he still has the mentality of "as long as it works" for his personal gadgets.
