The Philippines’ team won two gold and two silver medals in the eSports category at the recently held 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The COVID-19 pandemic has contributed to the rise of the gaming industry, as more people have turned to games for connections, distractions, comfort, and a sense of control in their lives.
