TECNO Mobile has just unveiled the TECNO Phantom Vision V concept device. The device is the company’s own take on the foldable phone but adds its own flair via a rollable sliding display.

The Phantom Vision V seems to take aim at tablets by offering a regular-sized smartphone when folded but can also fully expand to provide a mid-sized tablet experience.
When folded, it has a display on the front and a triple camera set up on the back. The back also features a smaller display for notifications, reminders, and an always-on display clock.
When the device is unfolded, you have a more ‘traditional’ foldable inner panel. Where it does differ from the currently available foldables though is that you can roll out the inner display to get a massive 10.1-inch panel.
The display itself is said to be comprised of 11 layers for flexibility and durability. Meanwhile, the case of the concept device is made of aerospace-grade titanium.
TECNO Mobile has yet to reveal when it will actually showcase the TECNO Phantom Vision V. Keep in mind that it is only a concept product so it is unlikely that we see the device hit mass production, at least as it is.
