Redmi is expanding its Redmi Note 12 series further with the Redmi Note 12R Pro set to be unveiled on April 29.
The series was introduced in China in October 2022 and has since included the Note 12 Pro Speed Edition and Note 12 Turbo 5G. Meanwhile, locally, the main series (Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro 5G, and Note 12 Pro+ 5G) was recently launched.
Redmi Note 12R Pro Confirmed Specs
The launch date announcement poster revealed some features of the Redmi Note 12R Pro. The main highlights are a 48MP dual rear camera housed in a rectangular camera module and an LED flash, three color options, and its rear panel design.
The poster also reveals the power button and volume rockers and because of the power button design, we can assume that it will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The device will also feature an OLED panel, at least 12GB RAM, and at least 256GB storage. The company didn’t specify if this was the lone memory configuration. However, it did mention in the post that the device will be powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset and offer 5G.
Not much else was revealed as of writing this, although thankfully the wait isn’t too long as it will debut on April 29 at 10 AM, Philippine Time GMT+8.
