MediaTek has just silently its latest midrange chipset – the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 equipped with an integrated image signal processor (ISP). The new chipset is the third member of the Dimensity 7000 series and slots between the Dimensity 7200 and 7020.

Regarding video recording, the 7050 supports up to 4K video recording at up to 30fps with support for HEVC or h.264 encodings.
It also supports:
- 2520×1080 max resolution displays with up to 120Hz refresh rates
