Fujifilm has officially unveiled the Instax SQ40, the company’s latest film camera that combines square film with a retro design.
Fujifilm Instax SQ40
The Instax SQ40 measures 13.4 x 11.4 x 5.7 cm and has a shoulder strap. The larger size is due to it using that larger Instax Square film.
The camera is able to adjust the exposure, which simplifies the process of taking photos. Additionally, you can rotate the lens to switch to selfie mode. Selfie mode focuses the lens at a distance of 0.3 to 0.5m.
The lens has a small mirror so you can see your photo, this should come in handy, especially for selfie mode. It also has a flash that’s effective up to 2.2 m.
The SQ40 is equipped with two CR2 button batteries which are said to offer up to 30 film packages.
