With 47,272,067 of its 66,304,761 active subscribers (or 71.30%) registered sims, Smart Communications has the most registered sims among the top three telcos.

The other two telcos have 52.88% and 46.16% of their active subscribers registered compared to Smart.

Furthermore, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) extended the April 26 deadline for 90 days, allowing subscribers to register their SIMs until July 25 to avoid losing their numbers, benefits, and apps. RA 11934 aims to combat scams through text and online messages.

SIMs that are currently being used and not registered by the deadline will be deactivated while newly bought SIMs must be registered immediately after purchase.
