TECNO recently announced its new POVA 5 series, which includes the vanilla variant, the POVA Neo 3, and the TECNO POVA 5 Pro, which offers capable hardware and a slightly different mecha design. And if RGB is your thing, stick around, because this phone has light strips on its rear panel that can be used for an array of functions, including notifications, warnings, and more.
TECNO POVA 5 Pro has a 6.78″ FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and packs a Dimensity 6080 along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also uses a large vapor chamber and a heat dissipation area for improved thermal performance, along with a linear motor for better haptic feedback.
For optics, the device has a 50MP rear camera paired with a depth sensor, along with a 16MP front camera. You also get Hi-Res and DTS Certified stereo speakers.
It houses a 5,000mAh battery which 68W Ultra Charge, which means 50% in 15 minutes, and a full charge in 45. There’s also Bypass Charge which lets the phone draw power directly from where it’s plugged in, instead of the battery. This lessens heat and prolongs the life of the battery.
