ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced news of its Never Stop Gaming event which is being held at E-Werk in Cologne, Germany from August 22-23. The event highlights the company’s latest gaming products and other activities like a press event, product showcases, ROG Talk, and ROG Party.
Among the products showcased at the event include the refreshed Z790 motherboards, OLED gaming monitors, and the latest ROG x Evangelion co-branded products.
On-Stage Products at the ROG Never Stop Gaming Event
ASUS Z790 Motherboards
The ROG Maximus Z790 Dark Hero, Strix Z790-A Gaming WiFi II, and TUF Gaming Z790-Pro WiFi motherboards were unveiled at the event. These support the Intel Core 12th gen, 13th gen, and next-generation processors. They also offer PCIe 5.0 and DDR5 memory support.
The Z790 Dark Hero and Strix Z790-A Gaming WiFi II feature Intel WiFi 7 technology and the latest ASUS WiFi Q-Antenna. These enable significantly faster speeds by packing more data into each transmission.
Meanwhile, the TUF Gaming Z790-Pro WiFi offers WiFi 6E support and includes the latest ASUS QiFi Q-Antenna for enhanced wireless performance.
The trio is packed with ASUS-exclusive technologies including AI Overclocking, AI Cooling II, Two-Way AI Noise Cancellation, and the ASUS Enhanced Memory Profile II (AEMP II). They also feature numerous USB ports and fast-charging support on the 20 Gbps USB-C front panel connector with USB Wattage Watcher.

ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM
Meanwhile, the Swift OLED PG32UCDM is the world’s first 32-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.03 gray-to-gray (GTG) response time.
The monitor utilizes the QD-OLED technology to offer a peak brightness of 1000 nits, outstanding color performance, a wide gamut, and exceptional contrast.
It has a cooling design that uses a custom heat sink and graphene material to protect the OLED panel. The Smart KVM switch, on the other hand, allows you to control two devices with one keyboard and mouse. To aid in this, the monitor has a PIP mode with keyboard hotkeys to switch devices.
Lastly, the PG32UCDM has a variety of connectivity options including Display Port 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and USB Type-C with Power Delivery. It is estimated to be available around Q1 2024.
ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDM
The Swift OLED PG34WCDM, on the other hand, is a 34-inch ultrawide monitor with an 800R curved OLED panel, a 3440x1440p resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03 ms GTG response time. It also has a custom heatsink to lower operating temperatures and reduce the risk of burn-in.
The monitor has a peak brightness of 1300 nits and is DisplayHDR True Black 400-compliant. It also features Smart KVM that allows you to control two devices with a keyboard and mouse. Moreover, it boasts a DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and a USB Type-C with 90W power delivery for connectivity.
It is expected to arrive in Q1 2024.
ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD
The Swift OLED PG49WCD is a 49-inch super-ultrawide monitor. It features a 1800R 5120x1440p resolutionQD-OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms response time.
The monitor also has a custom heatsink and graphene film for better heat dissipation to reduce the risk of burn-in. Moreover, it has a peak brightness of up to 1000nits, Smart KVM, and ports including a DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and a USB-C Type-C port with 90W power delivery.
The PG49WCD will be available in October 2023 and will retail in the US for USD 1,499.
ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro WiFi 7 Gaming router
The ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro is the world’s first WiFi 7 quad-band gaming router. It leverages the full potential of WiFi 7 with 320 MHz channel support in the 6GHz band to provide 160% faster speeds than its predecessor.
Additionally, 4K QAM modulation packs more data into transmissions, resulting in up to 20% higher peak data rates to deliver up to 30,000 Mbps. It also Multi-Link Operation and Multi-RU Puncturing.
The router comes with gaming features as well, including triple-level gaming acceleration, gaming port, and QoS that reduce lag and latency.
ROG x Evangelion Collection
The recently unveiled ROG x Evangelion co-branded products centered around EVA-02 and Asuka were also on full display at the event. The peripherals are decked out in the classic EVA-02 red and orange colorways with custom Evnagelion-themed decals and graphics.
The collection includes a Maximus Hero motherboard, Strix GeForce RTX graphics card, Ryujin AIO cooler, Hyperion gaming case, and more.
Product Booth Highlights at the ROG Never Stop Gaming Event
In addition to these products, the company also featured more at its product booth. Among these include the ROG Hyperion GR701 White Edition chassis, ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card, ROG Loki SFX-L 1200W Titanium, ROG NX Storm Mechanical Switches, Raikiri Pro, BTF motherboard innovations, and TUF Gaming LC II 360 ARGB.
The ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 4090 Graphics Card incorporates the industry’s first liquid metal thermal material on the graphics card’s GPU die. Additionally, a 360mm radiator with magnetic daisy-chainable fans, a more powerful pump, and a larger full-covered coldplate on the graphics card also come together for unrivaled performance and the highest out-of-the-box GPU boost clock.
The Hyperion GR701 White Edition is n E-ATX computer case with 420mm dual radiator support, four 140mm fans, a metal GPU holder, component storage, an ARGB fan hub, and dual front panel USB Type-c ports with 60W fast charging. This was showcased alongside the new Ryujin III 360 ARGB White Edition and Strix 1000W Gold Aura White Edition.
Meanwhile, the NX Storm switches utilize polyoxymethylene (POM) material for the stem and polycarbonate (PC) housing for ultra-smooth and tactile keystrokes. The walled stem design enhances stability while also preventing dust intrusion. These are specially tuned and pre-lubed at the factory for crisp and clicky keystrokes. These switches are compatible with the Strix Scope II 96 Wireless and Strix Scope II gaming keyboards.
