Spotify will soon be offering a bit more for Spotify Premium subscribers as it announced that it will soon offer access to over 150,000 audiobooksto subscribers of its premium service.

Spotify recently revealed that it will be offering access to a library of over 150,000 audiobooks to its Premium subscribers. This will be initially only be available to Premium individual or the plan managers for Family and Duo accounts. Additionally, the company will offer 15 hours of listening per month.

Among the library of audiobooks includes 70% of bestselling books with titles from different publishers including Penguin Random House, Macmillan, and Hachette, in addition to independent authors and publishers globally.

This means that Spotify will now be offering more than 100 million tracks, 5 millions podcast, and now 150,000 audiobooks.

These audiobooks available to Premium subscribers will be marked “Included in Premium” when it launches. Additionally, these will have an automatic bookmarking feature so you can easily pick up where you left off.

The audiobook catalog is currently only available in the UK and Australia but it will soon be rolled in the US and the rest of the world.

This is the company’s latest feature after it introduced the new revamped vertical home feed screen, AI DJ, and Spotify Jam. However, this also comes after the company increased its Spotify Premium subscription price in the Philippines.
