During the last Snapdragon Summit, Qualcomm revealed the S7 and S7 Pro Gen 1 sound platforms which aim to provide users with high-quality audio.
Qualcomm S7 and S7 Pro Sound Platform
The S7 and S7 Pro sound platforms offer five times computing and AI power, ultra-low power consumption, and support XPAN and micro-power Wi-Fi connectivity, offering extended wireless range and lossless audio up to 192kHz.
In addition, the new sound platform is equipped with the manufacturer’s micro-power Wi-Fi technology. This allows the user to switch between Bluetooth and WiFi to have more freedom of movement, especially at home.

The platform promises to provide low energy expenditure alongside high-performance audio and is expected to be featured in some of the upcoming high-end Android smartphones and earbuds.
