Ahead of their official launch in China on November 29, images of what is allegedly the upcoming Redmi K70 and K70 Pro have surfaced.
Design
Both devices seem to have a triple rear camera system housed in a rectangular module. The rear panels also seem to have a ceramic finish. Upfront, both devices have punch holes for their front cameras on a 6.67-inch OLED display.
Redmi K70 and K70 Pro Specifications
The Redmi K70 is rumored to be powered by a Dimensity 8300, while the K70 Pro will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Both have 12GB of RAM and are running Android 14 with Xiaomi’s new HyperOS on top.
Camera
- The regular variant will allegedly have a 50MP OV50E main camera along with an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macro unit.
- The Pro model will allegedly have a 50MP OV50E main camera along with an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 telephoto unit with 2x optical zoom.
Battery
Both devices are rumored to house a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast-charging.
Pricing
- The Redmi K70 will allegedly start at CNY 2,299 (around PHP 17,901).
- The Pro model will start at CNY 3,299 (around PHP 25,687).
We’ll have to wait until the official launch to know for sure, but these images and rumors suggest that the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro will be powerful and stylish smartphones with impressive cameras and batteries.
As for the rest, we’ll just have to find out on launch day.
