The next Nothing Community Update which is scheduled to arrive on April 18, 2024. The company revealed two animals a beetle and frog in the announcement which could hint at two devices.
Nothing Community Update Q1 2024
There was Nothing (get it? The company?) much revealed about the upcoming update but it did share a photo of a beetle and a frog.
Historically, the company has used animals to hint at its devices. Here’s a quick rundown of the product and its corresponding animal:
- Nothing Ear (1) – ladybug/mantis
- Nothing Phone (1) – parrot/lovebird/parakeet
- Nothing Ear (stick) – dragonfly
- Nothing Ear (2) – rhinoceros beetle
- Nothing Beer (5.1%) – yellow jacket wasp (our best guess)
- Nothing Phone (2) – octopus
- Nothing Phone (2a) – eyes (we kid, there was no animal for this device probably to highlight the new design)
If we follow the trend for the company, we expect at least two devices to be teased at the Nothing Community Update, we can guess that the beetle hints at the Ear (3), and the frog could be the Phone (3).
It could also just refer to one device, maybe the Ear (3) with the company introducing a smartphone this year.
The Community Updates, as the name suggests, are the company’s way of sharing the updates and plans in the quarter with its fans. The previous update was where it was revealed that the Nothing Phone (2a) was coming. Meanwhile, the Q2 2023 update was the announcement of CMF by Nothing.
We have two more weeks until the Nothing Community Update drops and we expect more teasers and maybe even leaks in the following days.
