The new Lunar Lake processors is confirmed to power more than 80 new laptop designs across more than 20 original equipment manufacturers. The new processors will also deliver AI performance at a global scale for Copilot+ PCs.

As an AI processor, it will feature a neural processing unit (NPU) alongside a central processing unit (CPU) and graphic processing unit (GPU). The NPU efficiently handles AI and machine learning tasks right on the PC rather than sending data to be handled via a cloud.
