Huawei announced its latest MatePad models in the Philippines namely the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5”S and HUAWEI MatePad SE 11”.
In addition, the company also revealed the arrival of the HUAWEI MateBook X Pro and HUAWEI MateBook 14 which will be available soon.
HUAWEI MatePad 11.5S
As the name suggests, the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5S is built around an 11.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a 2.8K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is the first Huawei tablet to feature the upgraded PaperMatte Display technology.
It uses an advanced nanoscale anti-glare etching, said to reduce reflected light interference by 99%. Moreover, it has a multi-layer nanoscale magnetron optical coating to soften light emission and minimize surface reflectivity by 2%.
The tablet also has an ultra-hydrophobic, oil-resistant film to prevent fingerprint stains to minimize the hassle of the frequent cleaning of the device.
The nano-level etching technique mimics the sound and feel of pencil on paper and works well with the third-generation HUAWEI M-Pencil that uses NearLink technology. NearLink technology allows for higher accuracy, more accuracy levels, and lower latency.
This is perfect to use on the new GoPaint app, a user-friendly painting app developed by Huawei in collaboration with the China Academy of Art. The app empowers amateur artists to create artwork using realistic painting effects, fine-tuned and tested by over 1,000 professional painters.
The new app brings imagination to a digital canvas with features like Canvas Background Pattern, Ink Wash, and smart tools like curve correction and willow leaf.
In addition to the new app, the tablet also features productivity apps like HUAWEI Notes and PC-level WPS Office 2.0.

Joining the MatePad 11.5”SE during the launch was the family-friendly HUAWEI MatePad SE 11”.
It is built around an 11-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel and features a unibody design. The tablet also features a quad-speaker setup tuned by HUAWEI Histen 9.0 technology for immersive gaming and watching movies and series.
The new tablet also features a 7700mAh battery that is said to offer 11.7 hours of video playback and supports 22.5W fast charging. The tablet also works with the new HUAWEI M-Pen lite with a 150H battery, a portable pen clip design, and a premium metal unibody design.
