According to the latest report from Canalys, Transsion remains the top smartphone vendor in the Philippines in Q3 2024.

Transsion, the parent company of itel, TECNO Mobile, and Infinix, held a firm position on top of the top smartphone vendors in the country with a unit share of 33% as per Canalys.
OPPO and realme followed Transsion with a 16% unit share apiece. Xiaomi and Samsung round out the top 5 smartphone vendors in the Philippines. Xiaomi retained its number 4 spot with 12% unit share, while Samsung dropped to 5th with an 11% share.
All five companies had positive annual growth with OPPO clocking the highest at 91% growth.
During the period of this report, TECNO launched the Spark 20 series which includes the Spark 20 Pro 5G and the CAMON 30 series including the CAMON 30 Pro 5G and CAMON 30 Premiere 5G. itel also launched P-series devices namely the itel P55+ and itel P65 locally.
OPPO also introduced the OPPO A3, Reno12 F 4G, Reno12 F 5G, and the Reno12 series 5G which includes the Reno12 5G. The Reno12 series, in particular, was the company’s latest AI phone which offered AI features at a more affordable price. It could account for the company’s larger annual growth.
Globally though, Samsung led the market in shipments ahead of Apple, Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo.
