A report from leakster Digital Chat Station claims that both OPPO and OnePlus are set to introduce new compact smartphones by next year. These are said to be a part of the respective flagship series but come in a smaller size.
OPPO Find X8 Mini
The leakster specifically pointed out the OPPO Find X8 Mini which is speculated to debut along with the Find X8 Ultra. Rumors claim that the Find X8 Mini will run with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset but in a smaller body.
On the other hand, the smaller device from OnePlus is reported to have a 6.31-inch 1.5K panel and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Digital Chat Station claims that the two devices will not eat into each other as they offer a different design and different flagship chipsets.
The Find X8 Mini is said to arrive in Q1 2025, while the compact device from OnePlus is rumored to debut in Q2 2025.
