Lexar recently introduced the Lexar ARES DDR5-6000 CL26 memory kit, optimized for AMD Ryzen platforms including the Ryzen 7 9800X3D.
Lexar ARES DDR5-6000 CL26
The ARES DDR5-6000 CL26 is designed to operate at 6000MT/s but offers a CAS Latency (CL) of 26. This is said to improve 1% framerates in games and deliver a 10% overall improvement compared to CL30 memory.
The new memory kit from Lexar has an AMD EXPO profile for its speed and tight timings, including a CAAS latency of 26 or 55ns. The memory kit also has an Intel XMP 3.0 profile, enabling the same timings.
The new Lexar kit uses SK Hynix A-die DRAM chips and a 10-layer PCB. The module features thermal pads for both the DRAM chips and the PMIC. These transfer heat to a 1.8mm-thick heat spreader with a silicone diffuser. The diffuser is for the module’s eight ARGB LEDs that includes 13 lighting presets.
The Lexar ARES DDR5-6000 CL26 memory kit is available in black and silver. It is listed currently listed via JD.com for CNY 899.
