Huawei is set to launch its latest foldable smartphone, the HUAWEI Mate X6, in the Philippines this January 2025. This innovative device combines cutting-edge technology with elegant design, promising to redefine the foldable smartphone experience.
Design and Display
The HUAWEI Mate X6 showcases an impressive blend of form and function at just 239g with a thickness of 9.85mm when folded. The device features a dual-screen setup, with a 6.45-inch OLED exterior display and a larger 7.93-inch OLED interior screen. Both screens utilize HUAWEI’s X-True Display technology, boasting a brightness level of up to 2,500 nits for the exterior screen and 1,800 nits for the interior display.
Photography Capabilities
The HUAWEI Mate X6’s utilizes a TÜV Color Accuracy and Stability Certified Ultra Aperture XMAGE Camera. The triple rear camera system includes a 50MP Ultra Aperture Camera with variable aperture, along with a 48MP Telephoto Micro Camera with 4X optical zoom, and a 40MP Ultra-Wide-Angle Camera.
The phone features the world’s first adjustable aperture feature in a foldable smartphone, enabling superior photography in various lighting conditions.
Performance and Durability
The Mate X6 incorporates advanced materials for enhanced durability, including 2nd Generation KUNLUN Glass for the exterior screen and a carbon fiber inner screen plate. The innovative distributed architecture improves signal strength by 60% and it also features an enhanced cooling system with a 30% larger heat dissipation area.
