The moment we have been waiting for has finally arrived. Just today, during the Samsung Unpacked event in Barcelona, Samsung announced the latest iteration to its Galaxy series, the Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7.
While most people find its looks quite similar with its previous iteration, the new Galaxy devices actually have a few tricks under its metal sheets. The 2 new devices are essentially devices, and differ only on its design. Obviously, the Galaxy S7 Edge has that rounded task edge, which gives users more access to shortcuts and notifications. The Galaxy S7, however, has that comfortable grip and curved back, which kind of remind me of the Galaxy Note 5.
Perhaps, the real star qualities of the new devices are its cameras, memory expandability, faster processor, 4GB RAM, larger battery and water and dust resistance.
According to Samsung, both devices feature the world’s dual photodiode sensor (P2D) in mobile phone, which basically supercharges the phone’s ability to swiftly focus on subject. It also has f/1.7 lens and can take photos at fast shutter speeds.
Shortly after the announcement, Smart also announced that both phones will soon to be available on Postpaid. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m heading now to its sign-up page to register myself to Galaxy S7 Edge.
