PLDT Home has been pioneer a lot of co-marketing and co-branded campaigns lately. Now with iFlix, Fox, Microsoft and Intel playing beside them for their consumer products and services, PLDT is dominating the internet services landscape.
Earlier today, PLDT announced yet another titanic partner to bring meaningful lifetyle-centric service for their consumers. Sony Playstation has always been at the forefront of console-gaming competition. Considered as the most powerful gaming console, the Sony Playstation 4 is definitely a must-have for gamers. Just in case you’re living inside a cave, the PS4 is powered by a custom chip that contains eight x86-64 cores and state of the art 1.84 TFLOPS graphics processor with 8gb of ultra-fast GDDR5 unified system memory. TL;DR of this rather long geeky description: it’s fast and powerful; could be more powerful than your PC or laptop you’re using.
Don’t call us console-gaming-“peasants” just yet. We’ve got more amazing things to say.
The partnership enabled PLDT to bundle the Playstation 4 to new and upgrading PLDT Fibr customers. Let us break it down for you:
- Playstation 4 + PLDT Fibr Power Plus Plan: PhP2,899/month + PhP749/month for 36 months
- Playstation 4 + PLDT Fibr Power Plus Plan + Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End: PhP2,899/month + PhP849/month for 36 months
According to PLDT VP and Home Marketing Director Gary Dujali, “Last year, we raised the bar for home entertainment with our compelling product and multimedia content portfolio. This year, we’re bringing gaming into the fold and leveling up the experience for our subscribers by empowering them to enjoy ultimate gaming at home.”
The President and Managing Director of Sony Philippines, Nobuyoshi Otake, also graced the event. He said that they’re ‘thrilled to be working with a like-minded digital leader like PLDT Home.”
