Good news for all Zenfone fans out there! ASUS Philippines has just confirmed that the newest additions to the Zenfone family, namely the Zenfone 3 Laser and the Zenfone 3 Max, will be launched alongside three other phones this August!
Camera
The two new models both sport a 13 Megapixel camera with Sony’s IMX214 sensor. This ensures good quality captures with no hiccups. The Zenfone 3 laser in particular, can achieve focus in 0.03 seconds! making it handy for all those quick shots. The camera also uses a technology which allows it to capture 400% brighter photos in low-light situations without flash. To add icing to the cake, the Backlight (Super HDR) mode allows for superb clarity, while the Super Resolution mode allows for taking pictures of up to 52MP resolution. Now that is one world-class camera package.
Design
ASUS didn’t skip on design and ease of use either. The aluminum alloy combined with the various aesthetic elements, ensures comfortable handling. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the upper rear panel. This allows natural positioning of the index finger while holding the device.
The Zenfone 3 Laser will be available in two colors: glacier silver and sand gold, while the Zenfone 3 Max will also be available in titanium gray.
Performance and Battery Life
The Zenfone 3 Laser uses the octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with the Adreno 505 GPU. It also has 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and equipped with one of the largest and clearest sounding speakers in its class. This device is surely more than enough to keep up with the all of your entertainment needs.
The Zenfone 3 Max on the other hand, comes with a 1.25 GHz 64-bit quad-core processor and the Mali T720 GPU and focuses on longevity with its 4130mah battery. This provides up to 30 days of standby time. The device also doubles as a powerbank through its reverse-charging capability.
What we have here then is an excellent fusion of performance and design. This results to an unparalleled experience for any smartphone lover.
