In its quest to provide the latest innovations in smartphones, Starmobile has just announced its first device equipped with a fingerprint sensor, the Starmobile UP Sense.

Why need a fingerprint sensor?

Security: When your phone gets stolen, the fingerprint lock should keep anyone from easily accessing the contents of your phone.

Privacy: The fingerprint lock should also keep anyone from playing with your device without your permission.

Convenience: You can unlock your device without having to enter a password/PIN every single time.

The UP Sense is a dual SIM phone has a premium look and sports a beautiful 5-inch 2.5D 720p curved display with nice viewing angles. It runs on a Mediatek MT6580 chipset coupled with a Mali-400MP GPU, 8GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB via Micro SD card, a 2500 mAh battery which can provide up to 12.5 hours of talk time or 13 days of standby, and 1GB of RAM. At the rear of the device is an 8MP camera with Flash, and up front is a 2MP camera. It also runs on the latest version of Android, Marshmallow.
