Last October 24 to 28, 2016, ASUS Philippines sent a team of bloggers, fans and media partners to the northernmost part of the Philippines, the Batanes Group of Islands to capture the best moments with mother nature using the amazing Zenfone 3 series smartphones.
Situated at 658 kilometers from Manila, Batanes is virtually an almost untouched paradise thriving with luscious greens and breathtaking scenery. A few days stay in Basco would give you a glimpse of what its like to live a very simple way of life. No malls, no fancy coffee shops, no fastfood chains, and no convenience stores.
What the place lacks in those things however, is almost incomparable to the beauty it presents. The roads are narrow and dangerous, the steeps are a challenge to the legs, and the scorching heat is exhausting, but once you uncover the secrets of this place, you’ll find that everything was worth it. Seriously, just stand on top of a hill and behold the waves touching the beach, the smell of fresh unpolluted air, and you’ll ask yourself, can I take this home with me?
