A new ASUS device, the ASUS_Z01HDA has just passed TENAA, a Chinese certification agency, and from the looks of it, it seems to be geared towards being the successor of the Zenfone Zoom.
The new device, which, for now, we will call the Zenfone 3 zoom, sports a design that has a striking resemblance to the Zenfone 3 Max. It has a 5.5-inch full HD display, a Snapdragon 625 processor, 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage, three variants of RAM (Possibly 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB), a 4850mAh battery, and VoLTE support.
The most striking thing about this new model is the presence of a 16MP Dual Camera setup, which seems to be following the current trend in a couple of other smartphones. It also has Dual LED Flash, Laser Auto-Focus, and a 13MP front-facing camera.
According to rumors, the Zenfone 3 Zoom might be officially launched in CES 2017, but we’ll have to see.
