In a grand launch event yesterday, ASUS unleashed its most powerful gaming laptop to date: The ROG GX800.
The GX800 is a beast in just about every aspect, carrying the signature ROG design, and an impressive specsheet. It sports an 18.4-inch 4K LED Backlit Anti-Glare display with NVIDIA’s G-SYNC Technology, and is powered by an Intel® Core™ i7-7820HK processor, coupled with a whopping 64GB of DDR4 RAM, and two of NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1080 graphics cards in SLI mode.
The GX800 also sports 1.5TB of total storage thanks to three 512GB M.2 SSDs, a MechTAG Mechanical Keyboard (with RGB LEDs and AURA RGB backlight effects) for solid and responsive keystrokes, and an 8-Cell Li-ion battery pack.
Apart from top of the line specs, the GX800 can also be connected to a liquid-cooled docking station which enables extreme overclocking not only for the CPU, but also for the GPU and RAM.
