Sony didn’t stop with their XZ Premium and XZs smartphones, as the Japanese tech giant also introduced two mid-range devices in the form of the Xperia XA1 and XA1 Ultra.

The Xperia XA1 has an edge-to-edge borderless screen design like its predecessor, but now sports a MediaTek Helio P20 Octa-Core processor, which should be a significant upgrade from the XA’s Helio P10. Speaking of upgrades, the camera in the XA1 has a 23MP 1/2.3″ sensor, with f/2.0 lens, which is basically almost the same as the one in the Xperia X.

The Xperia XA1 Ultra, as the name implies, is basically a bigger version of the XA1, and is also almost similar to its predecessor, the XA Ultra. It has the same Helio P20 processor and camera from its smaller variant, plus an improved 16MP selfie camera.

Both the XA1 and XA1 Ultra are scheduled to be released some time in spring. Hopefully with good pricing.
