LG Electronics wowed the crowd at Innofest Asia with its newest lineup of TV’s for 2017! This includes the award-winning OLED TV series, as well as the Super UHD TVs fitted with the Nano Cell technology, which significantly improves color and viewing angles.

OLED TVs with Superior Picture, Design, and Sound

Each individual pixel on an OLED display can be turned on or off. This in turn, paves the way for high quality image rendering with the purest black and lifelike colors. LG utilized this technology and combined it with its superior design aesthetics. The result? LG’s Signature OLED TV W.

The W7 in particular, sports a razor-thin profile at less than 4mm thick when wall-mounted with magnetic brackets, which creates the illusion of looking out of a window, thus, the Picture-On-Wall design concept.

The G7 on the hand, is known for its pristine Picture-On-Glass design, boasting perfect image quality and an immersive listening experience with its Dolby Atmos surround sound speaker, while the C7 and B7 models sport what the company calls Blade Slim Design, which combines the OLED display with a minimal stand design. Both models are also equipped with Floating Plate and Linear Crescent Stands.

The Most Advanced LCD TV

The company’s 3rd-gen SUPER UHD TV lineup sports a technology called Nano Cell. This utilizes 1 nanometer-sized particles for improved color reproduction. The display absorbs excess wavelengths of light which results to purer and cleaner colors. This capability also allows it to filter out specific colors with improved precision.

Nano Cell technology also provides consistent colors and better viewing angles, with no color difference from the view of those in front of the screen and those watching from a 60° angle.

Improved HDR Capabilites

All of LG’s 2017 OLED and SUPER UHD TVs are fitted with active HDR for brighter scenes and improved shadow details when displaying HDR content. This technology allows the TV to process the picture scene by scene, inserting dynamic data as the need arises. 2017 LG TVs also support other HDR formats such as Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma). This feature is further enhanced by HDR Effect, which processes standard definition content to enhance overall quality.

Enhanced webOS Experience

The newest version of the webOS TV platform focuses on enhancing the user friendliness of LG’s premium TVs. Version 3.5 in particular, features enhancements for easier control and quicker access when using the Magic Remote and the new Magic Link feature. Users can access their favorite services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video just by pressing a hot key on the remote control.

“We are immensely pleased to showcase our 2017 TV lineups at InnoFest Asia. This year, we will continue to expand the premium TV market through our unrivaled, award-winning series of OLED TVs and our groundbreaking SUPER UHD TVs with Nano Cell display. With these innovative TV products, our customers will be able to enjoy the best home entertainment experience that the industry has to offer.” – Brian Kwon, president of LG Electronics Home Entertainment Company
