In its most recent event, Rapoo showcased a broad range of new gaming peripherals under its VPRO brand. From gaming mice and keyboards, to stylish and functional headsets, these gears are designed to transform mere players into serious gamers.
Gaming Mice
The V25s, V26, and V280 gaming mice are packed with useful features which are hard to find at the entry-level segment: An ambidextrous design, 5 customizable buttons, LED multi-color lighting, a real-time DPI switch, and an on-board chip which remembers your settings, eliminating the hassle of having to re-configure the mouse when connected to another Laptop or Desktop PC.
The mid-range V310 on the other hand, basically sports the same features, with a number of improvements such as a higher image-processing rate of 12000 FPS, Online firmware updates, and Rapoo’s brand new V-power3 chip which improves performance in any type of game.
Gaming Headsets
Two new gaming headsets were introduced: The VH200 which sports a lightweight over ear design, 16-Million color lighting with breathing effect, hidden noise-cancelling microphones, and comfortable ear pads.
The VH600 on the other hand, features 7.1 virtual sound effects, active noise reduction, and a vibration unit, which reacts accordingly with the game you’re playing. This in turn adds to the overall realism and immersion when gaming.
Mechanical Gaming Keyboards
The V51s is the most back for the buck among the lot (At least on paper). That is because for a little over PhP1,000, what you get is a back lit, spill-resistant mechanical keyboard which gives you the feel of a blue switch, 5 different lighting modes, 3 levels of backlight frequency and brightness, switches that are rated for 20 million cycles, and allows you to press any number of keys simultaneously without any issues. Certainly more than what you pay for right?
For those who have a bit more budget, there’s the V500 series, which sport more premium designs and additional features.
The V500S AL comes in a compact form factor and features mixed-color individually back lit keys with adjustable brightness and switches that are rated for 60 million cycles. Its Aluminium Alloy surface also provides more durability and comfort during use.
The V500S Crystal is basically the V500S in white with crystal clear keycaps, the V500L is the full size version fitted with dedicated media keys and on-board memory for storing your settings, the V500RGB AL features customizable lighting effects, and the V510 is more of an entry level offering which has almost the same set of features, minus the memory.
If you want programmable keys, there’s the V700RGB AL, which also sports customizable lighting effects, a spill-resistant design, and online firmware updates. The V720S features the V-power3 chip for added performance, and a wrist rest that can be folded/detached to save space.
The most expensive of the lot, the V810, basically sports the same features as the V720S but is equipped with Cherry MX switches.
