We’ve all been waiting for this, and now, after all the rumors and speculations, ASUS has finally launched the Zenfone 4 lineup in Taiwan! let’s take a look:
Zenfone 4
The ASUS Zenfone 4 boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD Super IPS+ Display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 or 660 processor with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of internal storage.
Testament of its new tagline “We Love Photo”, the Zenfone 4 has been fitted with advanced optics starting with its dual rear 12MP + 8MP rear cameras with a 120° wide angle lens, an RGB Color Correction sensor, EIS, OIS, slow motion video capture, and Dual Pixel PDAF. There’s also an 8MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for great looking selfies.
The Zenfone 4 packs a 3300mAh battery with BoostMaster fast charging, and runs on the latest ZenUI 4.0 on top of Android Nougat with a planned upgrade to Android O some time in 2018.
Zenfone 4 Pro
The Zenfone 4 Pro is the company’s newest flagship, having the same 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display, but runs on Qualcomm’s most powerful chip to date, the 10nm Snapdragon 835 coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 64GB of built-in storage.
The Pro version also sports more powerful dual rear cameras (12MP + 16MP) capable of 2x optical zoom and taking HDR photos. It also features 4-Stop OIS, EIS, Portrait Mode, ASUS’ TriTech+ Technology which makes use of Dual Pixel PDAF, Subject Tracking AF, and a 2nd generation Laser AF, and the exclusive SuperPixel Engine
The device also features dual speakers, three noise cancelling microphones, and DTS HeadphoneX Technology.
The Zenfone 4 Pro has a bigger 3600mAh battery with BoostMaster fast charging, and also runs on the latest ZenUI 4.0 on top of Android Nougat with an update to Android O some time in 2018.

We still have yet to see what’s in store for Filipinos this Saturday as ASUS Philippines officially launches ZenFone 4 in the Philippines. We do not know if they are launching the same variants, but we’re one of the many hopeful ZenFone fans.
